Introduction
My own experiences, as well as those of close friends, confirm the theory about the importance of having a safe place to turn to when feeling unwell. In this study, I have visualized various individuals' descriptions of these safe spaces.
Purpose
The study aims to use art to create visual interpretations of safe spaces and thoughts among individuals with mental health issues. Through art, I want to explore and convey emotions, thoughts, and experiences that can be difficult to express in words.
Method
A qualitative survey study was conducted in which eight individuals with mental health issues described their safe spaces and thoughts. The responses were analyzed to identify central themes and patterns, which were then used to create eight unique artworks.
